TIE (Tarjeta de Identidad de Extranjero) is the plastic residence card in Spain. The EX-17 form is submitted after almost any approved permit: Digital Nomad Visa, employment, self-employment, family reunification, studies or another basis. Once your residence is approved, you have one month by law to obtain your TIE. Filling in the form by hand in Spanish is easy to get wrong.
